ATRON exhibits at RADECS, international conference on RADiation Effects on Components and Systems, from 16 to 21 September in Gothenburg (SE) and at the ATSR workshop on Radioprotection and Dementing, from 26 to September 28th in Marcoule.

The aim of RADECS conferences is to provide an annual European forum for the presentation and discussion of the latest advances in the field of radiation effects on electronic and photonic materials, devices, circuits, sensors, and systems.

The scope of the conference encompasses technological processes and design techniques for producing radiation tolerant systems for space, aeronautical or terrestrial applications, as well as relevant methodologies for their characterization and qualification.

RADECS 2018 is hosted by Cobham with the support of the RADECS Association, in Gothenburg, Sweden. It will take place from 16 to 21 September 2018.

The Association for Techniques and Sciences of Radioprotection (ATSR) aims to:

  • serve as liaison between the members of the Association and all persons professionally interested in the scientific and technical problems relating to the use of ionizing radiation,
  • contribute to the extent of its means to the study and development of radiation protection and the use of ionizing radiation,
  • inform the public of theradioprotection objectives and means,
  • help raise the quality of radiological protection education to its highest value

From 26 to 28 September 2018, ATSR organizes its "Radiation protection and dismantling" workshops in Marcoule on the themes of mastered and proven techniques, development of innovative methods and tools, optimized preparation of interventions, waste management and reusable materials, site monitoring, contribution of radiation protection in decommissioning operations, personal and collective protective equipment, skills development, dose evaluation and operational safety.
