ATRON was at the 11th National Radiation Protection Congress of the SFRP, which was held in Lille from 7 to 9 June 2017.

On this occasion, Gabriel Dupont, PhD student at ATRON, presented a seminar on the "Calibration of radiation survey meters using a realistic irradiation field, without radioactive source".

This process, developed by ATRON and carried out in collaboration with the CNRS (LPC CAEN) and the CEA (LIST, LNE, LNHB), aims to verify the calibration of radiation survey meters using the braking radiation of previously accelerated electrons. This avoids the use of radioactive sources, as previously done.

Gabriel Dupont also competed in the "Henri Jammet" Prize, created on the occasion of 50 years of the SFRP and rewarding a young professional in radiation protection.
