Description

A global provider of radiation measurement technologies, Varadis develops RADFETs (Radiation-Sensitive Field-Effect Transistors) used in the fields of space, healthcare, and research.

To ensure the accuracy of its sensors, Varadis requested ATRON Metrology to carry out a controlled open-air irradiation at ambient temperature for dose rate calibration.

Using our FELIX electron accelerator, we delivered a total dose of 10 kGy at a constant dose rate of 500 Gy/h over 20 hours, with beam stability exceeding 99.8%.

This operation enables Varadis to guarantee the traceability and performance of its sensors in demanding environments, particularly for on-board space applications.
