ATRON METROLOGY's Testing, Measurement & Analysis Laboratory extends its measurement capabilities to gamma spectrometry.
The laboratory has been operated since 2019 by ATRON METROLOGY, mainly for liquid scintillation counting services aimed at measuring the 3H and 14C contamination of smears or liquid samples. The recognized expertise and organization of the laboratory make it possible to meet the general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories (ISO/IEC 17025).
On the strength of this experience, the ATRON METROLOGY Testing, Measurement & Analysis Laboratory undertook to extend its measurement capabilities to gamma spectrometry using two low background GeHP chains and obtained the modification of its NSA authorization n°T500360, now allowing it to receive unsealed sources known to contain alpha, beta or gamma contamination.
