RADNEXT is a European research program whose objective is to create a network of facilities and develop a methodology for the irradiation of electronic components.
ATRON is a contributor to the Working Group 7 of this program, which is studying the cumulative effects of radiation on electronics.
The main objective is to understand the physical mechanisms behind the damage and to propose test methodologies adapted to the use of electronic components and systems. The results derived from this working group will be incorporated into recommendations and guidelines on the complementarity and representativeness of the different experimental conditions.
