On 13 October 2016, the 28th meeting of the regional network of Grand-Ouest of the Radiation Protection Advisers (RPA) and actors of the radiation protection was held.
Founded in 2004 on the initiative of the University of Caen Basse-Normandie, the Grand-Ouest regional network of the RPA and actors of the radiation protection now includes more than 150 members.
Twice a year, the members come together to exchange their experiences and learn about the transposition into French laws of European directives, which introduce significant changes in both practice and regulatory provisions.
Thus, on Thursday 13 October, 144 RPAs and radiation protection actors from the Grand-Ouest regional network met at the University of Caen, and in front of which was presented the ATRON project to calibrate radiation survey meters using an electron accelerator.
